Summary of the Position
A position for a Housekeeping Attendant has become available in Jumeirah Al Naseem’s Housekeeping Department. The following are the primary responsibilities and duties of this position:
. Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and appearance at all times, report for duty on time and in proper uniform, and provide courteous and professional service to internal and external customers to ensure that Jumeirah Standards are met.
. Constantly monitoring room status on assigned blocks and public areas, ensuring that assigned blocks, including halls, back of the house areas, stairways, and service pantries, are kept secure and clean, and reporting any deficiencies to team leaders to ensure that the assigned areas are kept clean and orderly at all times.
. Ensure that all machinery on allocated blocks is kept clean and in good working order at all times for all housekeeping machines to last as long as possible.
. To ensure that accurate protocols are followed in the event of an emergency, ensure that everyone understands and follows the policies relating to fire, sanitation, health, and safety.
. To ensure workplace protection, ensure full knowledge of how to handle housekeeping cleaning chemicals and other supplies.
. Assist in stocking and arranging supplies regularly to ensure that hotel guests are supplied with enough supplies.
. To ensure a good atmosphere for all resort guests, refresh towels, linens, toiletries, room facilities, and so on.
. Carry out any other responsibilities that management can fairly assign.
The perfect applicant for this job would have the following credentials and experience:
. You must have worked as a Housekeeping Attendant for at least one year in a 5-star hotel or its equivalent.
. You must have completed at least high school or possess a formal housekeeping training certificate. . Should be able to communicate effectively in English.
